6 Day Intensive Retreat, Gokarna, South India, 21-26 October 2016
: Neema Majmudar & Surya Tahora
: 21-26 October 2016
: SwaSwara Resort, Gokarna, Karnataka, South India
: Isha Upanishad

Isha Upanishad starts with a bold statement, all that is here is Isvara (the cause of the universe). The rest of the text goes on to prove how this statement is not a matter of belief but is available for understanding. Through the intricate logic used, listener appreciates that there is no way to contradict the vision of Upanishad that there is nothing else in the universe but Isvara. Anyone who understands and incorporates this reality while living, is a transformed person! Along with meditations and meditative movements in the morning, and dialogue session in the evening.

Comments of participants :

(1) I came to this retreat as a novice to Vedanta. It is amazing how in a few days this teaching has percolated every aspect of my being. The greatest discovery was the understanding of presence of Ishvara everywhere. Living our life with this awareness changes the way we perceive things and act in this world. I consider that my journey of transformation incorporating vision of Vedanta has just begun. What comes to my mind is the idea of exposing younger generation to this teaching. I strongly believe that holistic vision of oneness revealed by Vedanta would greatly benefit younger generation and enable them to engage in life more meaningfully. Through involvement of youth, the vision of oneness could spread very fast and transform the world.

(2) I am already connected to Vedanta since many years. Spending time again listening to this teaching, catching up with old friends and discovering some new ones who share freedom (moksha) as a common goal has been a great privilege. I consider that the world needs profound vision of Vedanta to guide their lives and I would do my best to make this teaching available to youth across the whole world. It would be one of my endeavors for the future.

(3) I don’t have words to thank Surya and Neema for the teaching they impart. After my Guru Swami Dayanandaji passed away, there was a big void. I started to attend Neema and Surya’s retreats and found the way Neema unfolds the vision of Vedanta is outstanding. In every event of hers, she lifts us to one level higher from where we are. Listening to her over last couple of years has given me so much clarity and taken my understanding to another level. Very few masters have that capability. I am committed to taking this knowledge forward. Today whatever I am, I am because of this knowledge and I would do my best to share it with others so that they can live their life with responsibility and cheerfulness.
