Transformation & connaissance ( in French)
Series of 4 videos based on the conference of 28 August 2011 at la Saline les Hauts, 'Self transformation & knowledge'. Themes discussed : How to widen our perspective of the world and ourselves by the knowledge of what is. Two levels of transformation were presented, relative and absolute

Comments of participants :

'Vedanta is not a subject easy to talk about when the audience is not familiar with Indian philosophy. However Surya seems to have succeeded in this as he could win over the participants to his conference if one takes as a criteria the pertinent questions raised at the end of his talk. All the merit goes to Surya who could communicate clearly and directly the essence of this arduous subject matter through examples taken from day to day life. What excellent pedagogical skills ! (...) I wish him all the best on the path of knowledge and the path which he chose, that of of 'illumining' the world with the light of the ancient wisdom of India.'

S.A.Pitchaya, Professor of Indian Civilization (retired)-University of Reunion-France

'We listened very attentively the conference on 'Vedanta, a path to personal transformation and self knowledge'. It was an easy and pleasant task because of the high quality of the presentation. A methodical inquiry accompanied with striking analogies and illustrations; step by step we were lead by Surya towards the discovery of what is Vedanta. His natural ease and the way he has deeply internalized the teaching were crucial in this moment of sharing.

'I attended with my spouse Bina to the three last conferences (Le Port, St Denis, la Saline les Hauts). What we felt :

About the speaker :Authentic knowledge of the subject matter which was presented and discussed with clarity and pragmatism with reference to day to day realities of human life. This triggered our interest as we were looking for a 'practical' spirituality.

About the themes chosen : They were presented in a gradual, methodical and accessible way and led us to a better understanding of what Vedanta is. As a result, we would like to look into this tradition more deeply.

About the organization: Excellent for the way participants were welcomed; locations were convenient, pleasant and sound of good quality. Special congrats for the conference at La Saline les Hauts, 'Self transformation & knowledge' which was great at all levels including the lunch and discussions at the end of the conference !
Sorry to be so brief but it is coming from our heart. May you have the grace and protection of the Great Cosmic Spirit in your undertakings. Thank you.'
