I feel the need to write to you about how meaningful the days in Samaya and your teachings were for me.
On the last evening of satsang, I may not have been able to express precisely enough the change I see in myself. What I mean is the deep understanding that recognizing my true nature cannot be an experience that my current existence as a human being can provide me with. I have understood that this is knowledge that is available to me through you as teachers via the scriptures. And for that I am infinitely grateful. I am now looking for ways to deepen this knowledge.
In the past, Kurt and I gained a lot of spiritual experience with Native Americans, Buddhism, and other Indian teachers. We were driven by the idea that awakening would happen as an experience and that we would then be able to live in lasting happiness/experienced bliss. What I understand now is so fundamental and true that I feel I have arrived at a place where I can learn even more deeply. Lasting happiness is not possible in this body and is no longer the goal of my search. In-depth study has captivated me, and I know that every new insight makes me both more satisfied with my current life and brings me one step closer to understanding.
In the coming months, I will focus on developing my own daily practice and continuing my studies. I am infinitely grateful that you come to Europe every year to share this knowledge. And I am very happy that I can contribute to making this possible.
