Thanks to Neema and Surya, in this retreat, we learnt that we have to enjoy Freedom in Relationship. Self evolution is not about staying away from people or society. Relationships and social connections are an important and integral part of our lives. The workshop taught us how to understand and accommodate different types of people who are closely related to us and at the same time draw boundaries when necessary. I also understood that in some relationships, when we are unable to connect to the other person, we make a futile attempt to "fix" the issues according to our stand point. Rather than fixing, it is important to identify underlying issues, acknowledge our as well as others responsibility and find a solution taking into consideration both sides. We also did role plays, where we leant that in the process of conflict resolution, we can continue to be kind and loving to ourselves as well as everyone around.
