During this retreat by the beautiful river Rhine in Bonn (Germany), you would have a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the traditional teaching of Vedanta. This retreat would be attended by a group of individuals from all over the world who are interested in learning more about the Self, the universe and its cause. This seminar is based on chapters 8 to 10 of the book Living the vision of Oneness by Neema Majmudar & Surya Tahora.
This chapter examines patterns like denial, spiritual bypassing, over-idealising teachers, and comfort-zone attachments. It offers practical ways to process emotional baggage, align understanding with feelings, and cultivate abhyāsa and śraddhā so that genuine transformation becomes possible.
Meditation is presented not as a technique but as a way of aligning the mind with the vision of oneness. Through preparation, japa, emotional reconciliation, and contemplation (nididhyāsana), meditation becomes a space where knowledge settles, clarity stabilizes, and inner harmony becomes natural in daily life.
The final chapter portrays the inner freedom of a person who has truly assimilated the teaching. Free from confusion about reality, grounded amid life’s opposites, and acting with objectivity, fearlessness, gratitude and wonder, the wise person engages fully with the world while remaining rooted in oneness.
Address: IndiTO educational institution, Estermannstr. 204, 53117 Bonn. It is located in the north of Bonn’s city center, directly on the beautiful Rhine River.
