A Journey towards Universal Love – what a promise for a weekend retreat!
I have been familiar with Neema´s and Surya´s teachings for a couple of years now. So I knew: if anyone can fulfil such a huge promise, it´s them.
We started our journey asking ourselves, whether universal love is possible or even desirable. By collecting the doubts, experiences and questions of the participants, Neema showed us not only that Universal Love is possible, but that is deep desire in all of us. If we manage to become aware of this deep connection – even with people and situations that we did not wish for – we have no choice but to feel universal love.
However, how do you come to this realization? Book knowledge does not help here. We need a teacher who picks us up from our doubts and fears, our thought patterns and conditioning and helps us to transform them. In a unique and very empathetic way, Neema did precisely this with us. It was by no means a wellness weekend.
Dissolving old thought patterns can certainly be a headache, but Neema always gave us the right impulses and conveyed a feeling of security. She has involved us again and again on this journey of self-discovery.
Everyone was moved deep in their hearts. When thoughts got tangled up in our minds, Surya was there to untangle them with his wonderful deep meditations. These were an ideal complement to the challenging topic. In the meditations we could just open our hearts and let the wisdom flow in. Everything came in the right dose. And in the end it was simply liberating.
The wisdom of Universal Love is still vibrating within me. I am so grateful for these wonderful teachers.
