Retreats are an in-house experience where you stay with the teacher and other students at ashrams, institutes, hotels, etc., for a few days. The emphasis is on the universal relevance of the wisdom of Vedanta to life in the twenty first century. During a retreat, you are immersed in the studies of texts of Vedanta. The texts are carefully chosen to cover the overall vision of Vedanta as well as its daily application. Our sessions encourage active participation, and engage students in lively interactions and constructive dialogue. Along with these studies, we conduct meditations, Tai-Chi, Vedic chanting, and an evening Q & A session. Evenings include social events where participants are encouraged to show their talents in music or dance. Retreats are a time for concentrated learning and developing meaningful connections to the Vedanta community.
